Negative Space

The sculpture to your left is made from small stainless steel rods that are assembled together to create the negative space of a billboard. The sculpture is named ‘non-sign’ and was created by Seattle based art collective Lead Pencil and is meant to be a frame for the landscape/scenery behind it. Focusing the groups attention on how a sculpture can interact with the viewer and its surroundings we have developed some design ideas and planned where to take the project. - Mark
